On Sundays from September through May our readings will be based on The Narrative Lectionary. The readings will follow the sweep of the biblical story, from Creation through the early Christian church. The readings are read in the order they appear in the Bible.

The readings will show the breadth and variety of voices within Scripture. They invite us to hear all kinds of stories, listening to the many different voices within Scripture. This enriches preaching and the life of faith, the life of the church.

St. Paul is participating

St. Paul Lutheran Church is participating in the ELCA Good Gifts for Our 2024 Holiday Animal Tree this year!

December 1, 2024 - January 5, 2025

“As members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we believe that God’s love in Jesus is a gift. ELCA Good Gifts is just one way you can share that love with others.” Look for the small tree in the church narthex during this season of Advent! This year it will again be covered with ornaments, each one bearing an animal on one side, with the price for “adopting” that animal on the reverse side. These gifts support work in 86 countries!
